Provocative New Documentary The Art of Protest Takes An Artistic Look At Global Political Resistance

Indecline and Zero Cool Films are proud to announce the digital premiere of their daring new documentary The Art of Protest. Launching in partnership with Rolling Stone’s digital platforms on Tuesday Oct. 13,  The Art of Protest takes viewers on a never-before-seen tour of the minds, workshops and creations of resistance artists around the world. From the streets of Moscow to the shores of Los Angeles and many stops between, audiences are swept up in the energy and urgency driving this unique intersection between freedom, culture and direct confrontation of dangerous political divides.

Featuring interviews with Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Dave Navarro (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Pussy Riot, Moby, Shepard Fairey and a collection of the world’s most important and innovative artists and provocateurs, this powerful film brings a message of hope and change through radical resistance and righteous social uprising. Audiences and artists alike have flocked to this project because of its dramatic importance in the present contentious climate and the need for more voices at the table.

Directed by Colin M. Day (Saving Banksy), the film privately premieres in Las Vegas on Mon. October 12 with the live digital premiere on RollingStone.com Tuesday, October 13th at 9 AM EST.
